Full time Construction Safety Manager

The candidate shall hold at least one of the following current degrees or certificates; Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technologist Certification (OHST). Additionally the candidate shall have a current 30 Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health training certificate; a minimum of five years of diversified construction health and safety experience; be able to demonstrate competency in pre-task planning, and accident investigation root cause analysis. The candidate shall have a broad understanding and recall of Federal, State and local regulatory requirements as they pertain to OSHA and Labor Codes; certifications that the candidate has necessary OSHA and AZ/OSHA training to work with hazardous waste materials in accordance with CCR; be competent in fall protection, lockout/tagout, traffic control, scaffolding, trenching, confined space entry, forklift operation, boom lift operation and other high risk exposures. The specified degrees and/or certificates are mandatory, candidates not meeting these minimum standards need not apply. Candidate must be willing be to travel 30%.
